Customer background:

A Sino-Japanese joint venture for automotive interiors in the Pearl River Delta region. The products are mainly interiors of models owned by GAC Toyota.


Background of the project:

As the new models of GAC Toyota are about to be launched on the market, the door panel interiors of doors need to expand production capacity urgently. At present, the production method of manual spray glue is still used, and it is obviously difficult to meet the requirements in terms of capacity and quality.


Project objective information:

According to the communication between our technical engineering team and customers during the meeting and various understandings, the products are automotive interior door panels, the shape is curved cover plates, and there are more arc and right angle positions. The maximum size is 400mm × 500mm, and the minimum is 300mm × 350mm. The weight is 0.5-1kg. Spray with glue, then bake the fabric or leather. If the glue on the surface of the product is not uniform, it will cause the following: (1) the fabric or leather is warped; (2) the surface of the product is uneven; The capacity requirement is 1,000,000 pieces / year. Use the existing dry spray booth for automation transformation.


Process analysis:

Because the shape of the product is a curved cover, there are many curved and right-angled positions, and the hole position needs to be covered during spraying. Through the rational design of the secondary fixture, and covering the fixture with Teflon coating, it can easily remove the glue attached to the fixture at the same time to cover the spraying to improve production efficiency.


Capacity analysis:

Yield rate is a prerequisite for stable output, and the factors that affect yield are mainly the following two points:

1. Whether the spraying action is flexible.

2. Whether the glue flow control is accurate and stable.

 

For large radians of products, multiple right-angle positions. We use imported painting robots, which are flexible and flexible. The spray trajectory can be fully adapted. Equipped with the "Canlin supporting robot spraying process control system" independently developed by our company, it can accurately control the glue flow and achieve a yield of more than 95%.


Yield rate is the guarantee of stable output, and production capacity is the fundamental to ensure output. Based on a conservative estimate of a minimum yield of 95%, the annual production capacity needs to reach 105 million pieces / year. According to our proofing data, combined with the customer's annual production time, only two spraying systems can be used to meet the production capacity requirements.

Through the above analysis, our company provides the following solutions.


Spraying system:

Designed with independent workstations. You only need to connect the power supply, cables and air pipes after the forklift is moved into place, and then you can program and debug. The hardware uses a painting robot sitting on the base, a Canlin anti-stick double slide table, and a Canlin gear pump glue supply system. The software adopts "Canlin four-axis slide table spray control system", "Canlin spray flow control system", and "Canlin supporting robot spraying process control system".


Extraction system:

The exhaust system adopts the original dry exhaust system, and only needs to change the filter screen after production every day.


result:

After 10 days of installation and commissioning at the site, the project construction was successfully completed. After training in theoretical knowledge and practical operation, production personnel are proficient in the entire production process, precautions, robot program writing, maintenance, troubleshooting and so on. After a week of trial production, it fully met the customer's production capacity requirements. The yield rate exceeded the expected 95%.
